Google talk is an application service created as a means to communicate via instant messaging and VoIP. Google talk first released on August 24, 2005. Google Talk is provided free of charge and can be downloaded and accessed through Google. Google Talk service can only be used if already have an account on Google. Instant messaging between the Google Talk servers and clients using open protocols, and XMPP, which allows users other XMPP clients to communicate with Google Talk users. Meanwhile, Google Talk VoIP based on the Jingle protocol. The technology used in google server network can not be known by the public. Google Talk service is only available for operating systems that use Windows 2000, Windows XP, windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, and Windows 7.
