Google Chrome is a web browser that developed by Google. It was first released on 2 September 2008 and the public release was on 11 December 2008. Eventhough Google Chrome is a new web browser, Google Chrome became the third most widely used browser and scored 100/100 in Acid3 test, higher than Internet Explorer 7 (14/100), Firefox 3 (71/100), and Safari 3 (75/100).
Google Chrome aims to improve security, speed, and stability. It has minimalistic interface which is a typical modern web browsers. Chrome’s strength is in its application performance and JavaScript processing speed, it’s the swiftest among the major browsers of its time. Many of Chrome’s unique features had been previously announced by other browser development, but Google was the first to implement and publicly release them.
